Improve Productivity, Social And Economic Activities

2005 - 2008

This project looked at how mobile applications could be used to enhance agricultural activities as well as improve productivity, social and economic activities in rural communities. TEL developed a bespoke on-site training course aimed at farmers in the south of Ireland. The course ran over two consecutive weeks and covered many aspects of integrating smart technologies into farm and rural community groups. TEL also ran an Irish conference entitled, “The Future of Technology on the Farm”, a hybrid event which was attended by over 100 participants in Cork and online via EU partner hubs
