While often associated with media-focused courses, these approaches have significant value across all disciplines, incl. science and technology, where they can help students communicate complex ideas, demonstrate applied understanding, collaborate and engage in real-world knowledge production.

This session will highlight the pedagogical benefits of media-based assessment, including its potential to enhance student engagement, foster creativity, and develop transferable communication and digital skills.
