Past Projects: Reusable Learning Resources (RLR) 2023/2024
Open Science Microcredentials
Category: E-learning modules
Summary: The project is an Open Education Resource (OER) designed to introduce researchers to the most relevant concepts of Open Science. The hope is to enable learners to acquire a better understanding of Open Science, why it is an asset to research, and how to apply aspects of it in their research. Learners who complete the course will be awarded a digital badge.
Open Science greatly benefits society, making research and publishing transparent and accessible to more people. This course will interest anyone conducting research in any area to learn about the research process and the benefits of Open Access, Open Research Data, and Open Licensing.
Nature of Reusability: As an OER, all content will be openly licensed and made available on OER Commons, which will allow others to build, remix and utilise the resource as they wish.
