Summary: This project aimed to create a digital e-learning module for textiles. The key outputs included 10 instructional videos covering Standard Operating Procedures for the safe use of equipment specifically designed for textiles. The intention of the project was to address the gap within the textiles area as there were no available resources for textiles on the National Forum for T&L database. These videos aim to support classroom-based instruction and further enhance textile safety practice. The videos align with UDL principles to support diverse learning needs, with each followed by a short quiz for reinforcement and formative assessment. Infographics summarizing key safety guidelines were also developed. These resources can be used in various teaching environments, from post-primary to higher education, enhancing student understanding of critical textile safety procedures and supporting diverse learning styles to create a more inclusive educational experience.
