Summary: A significant lack of awareness relating to careers and fundamental concepts associated with instrumentation and control strategies, which ultimately affects student recruitment, progression and retention was identified in the Physical Sciences Sector. Instrumentation engineers have been identified as one of the hardest jobs to fill and this project addressed the issue by developing a suite of OERs to assist students in their learning and understanding of associated concepts and skills.  

The video was created gives an overview of the measurement and evaluation of air quality, undertaken by the Physics Department. here at MTU for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). This video aims to bring awareness around the processes involved in, and the importance of, scientific measurement in relation to air quality. 

Nature of Reusability: Reuse of this video is encouraged and it is made openly accessible, with Creative Commons licenses on YouTube and through various OER repositories including the National Forum and the OER Commons.
