Summary: This project focused on making virtual site visit videos for students. These will be used in PBL assignments, and more widely accessible as RLRs as they will be hosted openly on YouTube and OER repositories such as OER Commons and National Forum OERs. The output of this project was recording, compiling and narration of virtual construction site visits. They are an extremely useful learning resource used in project-based assignments in Structural and Civil Engineering modules.

Nature of Reusability: The focus of the project is on public buildings as there are no copyright issues in terms of making them openly accessible. 360 videos of public spaces as OERs allow students at MTU and beyond to study these spaces. There is also an accessibility piece to this, as these sites will now be remotely accessible to those whose disabilities pose a challenge to in-person site visits.
